gfsql
a simple SQL-Editor for Gadfly-Databases in Python.
gfsql depends on gfplus (from J. Berliner) -- the gadfly-shell.
Gadfly is from A. Watters.

Installation
- First of all: you'll need Python (at least version 2.0) including Tkinter and Tix
- Unzip
gfsql.zip
(Windows) or gfsql.tar.gz
(Linux) in a subdirectory
- Call
gfsql.pyw
Installation of the Standalone-Version
With the Installer from Gordon McMillan you may create executables from Python-source. The standalone-version is a gfsql executable for windows only, created by the McMillan-installer.
- Download of the standalone-version :-)
- Unzip the file
gfsql_exe.zip
in a subdirectory
- Call
gfsql.exe
in the gfsql-subdirectory
Note: you won't need python for the standalone-version of gfsql.
